The various catfish of the genus Aspidoras are a recent division from the Corydoras, and differ in having a more elongated body, as well as a "supraoccipital fontanel". If you can figure out what that means, and where it is, bonus points to you. Despite the longer body shapes, the name "Aspidoras" does not refer to a snake (Asp), but instead to a shield -- Aspis is the Latin word for shield, and refers to the heavy scales that these, and all Corydoras type catfish have.
These fish are an apparently undescribed species traded under the name of "Senger's Aspidoras," and given the C-Number designation of C118.
